Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Team Manager to join the Leaving Care / LAC Team for London Borough of Sutton.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and supervise a team of Social Workers and Personal Advisers supporting Looked After Children and Care Leavers.
- Oversee caseload allocation and ensure statutory responsibilities for LAC and Leaving Care are met within required timescales.
- Ensure high-quality pathway planning for Care Leavers in line with legislative requirements.
- Monitor performance, quality assurance, and compliance with statutory guidance and local procedures.
- Provide regular supervision, performance management, and professional development support to team members.
- Oversee care planning, permanency planning, and transition to adulthood arrangements.
- Attend and contribute to strategy meetings, care reviews, and corporate parenting forums.
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to secure education, employment, training, and accommodation outcomes for young people.
- Ensure accurate and timely case recording and reporting in accordance with statutory frameworks.

- £45.20 per hour Umbrella
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualifying experience within children's social care
- Management or supervisory experience within LAC and/or Leaving Care services
- Social Work England Registration
- Strong knowledge of Children Act 1989, Leaving Care legislation, and corporate parenting responsibilities
