Senior Occupational Therapist - Adult Social Care Location: Sutton, SM1 1EA Rate: 39.00 per hour Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2 days remote, 3 days office/visits We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and autonomous Senior Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Social Care OT Hub in Sutton. The successful candidate will manage a caseload involving moving and handling, equipment and adaptation needs, helping residents maximise their independence and achieve their desired outcomes. Key Responsibilities Prepare for and work with individuals, families, carers, groups and communities to assess their needs and circumstances. Plan, carry out, review and evaluate social work practice with individuals, families, carers, groups, communities and other professionals. Support individuals to represent their needs, views and circumstances. Manage and be accountable, with supervision and support, for your own professional practice. Carry out strengths-based Occupational Therapy assessments and make recommendations to promote independence. Recommend major and minor adaptations, including DFG-related work, and prescribe assistive equipment. Assess complex moving and handling needs and implement safe practices. Work on the OT Duty Desk, screening referrals and addressing immediate OT needs. Complete housing reports and void visits.
