An exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join the Early Help Team in the Gloucestershire area as a Senior Social Worker. You will be based in either the Stroud, Cirencester or Dursley offices, all with good links with Cotswolds and the M5. This position is for 37 hours a week on a 3-month contract with a rate of £39 per hour for experienced workers. Flexible hybrid working arrangements are available, with a possible extension in the future but may become part-time once the backlog of reviews is cleared.

We are looking for 1 or 2 social workers who can case hold early help cases. They will need to carry out visits to families in Stroud and Cotswold. This is targeted early help work, where they will have to assess, develop plans, and provide interventions to support families. The children are not section 17 or section 47, but they will need to assess and step them up to social care if there are safeguarding concerns.

Social workers with assessment or Children in Need (CIN) experience would be well suited to this role. Candidates need to be able to use Liquid Logic (LCS and EHM). You will be SWE registered, ideally a driver with access to your own car, and able to reside and work in the UK.
