Eden Brown are seeking an experienced Health & Social Care Lecturer for a Further Education College in West Yorkshire. This is a full time temporary role. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner or lecturer to inspire and support learners pursuing careers within Health & Social Care.

The Role

As a Health & Social Care Lecturer, you will deliver high-quality teaching across a range of Health & Social Care programmes, supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and develop the skills required for employment or further study. You will play a key role in curriculum delivery, assessment, and learner progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons across Health & Social Care qualifications
  • Support and motivate learners to achieve their full potential
  • Monitor learner progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
  • Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement
  • Maintain accurate records in line with college and awarding body requirements
  • Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion at all times

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • A relevant qualification in Health & Social Care (Level 3 or above)
  • A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
  • Experience teaching in Further Education or training environments (desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of the Health & Social Care sector and current practice
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A learner-focused, inclusive approach to teaching

Candidates must have a current DBS.
