Eden Brown are seeking an experienced Early Years Lecturer for a Further Education College in West Yorkshire. This is a full‑time temporary cover to start as soon as possible until the end of January initially. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner or lecturer to inspire and support learners pursuing careers within Early Years and Childcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons across Early Years and Childcare qualifications
  • Support and motivate learners to achieve their full potential
  • Monitor learner progress and provide timely feedback
  • Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement
  • Maintain accurate records in line with college and awarding body requirements
  • Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion at all times

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • A relevant qualification in Early Years / Childcare (Level 3 or above)
  • Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
  • Experience teaching in Further Education or training environments (desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A learner‑focused, inclusive approach to teaching

Candidates must have a current DBS.
