An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist to join a private mental health hospital set within nine acres of therapeutic countryside grounds, supporting adults with complex mental health needs. You'll be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive OT assessments covering physical, cognitive and emotional needs.
- Develop and deliver individualised, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to support functional independence.
- Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental adjustments to support daily living.
- Contribute to care planning, documentation and ongoing clinical risk management.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and support patients' families/carers.
Requirements
- BSc (Hons) / Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registration essential.
- Experience in mental health, neuro-rehab or another specialist OT setting desirable.
- Strong communication, coaching and therapeutic engagement skills.
- Ability to work compassionately in environments that may be emotionally and sensory demanding.
