Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated BTEC Chemistry Lecturer to join a successful sixth form college in Greater Manchester on a full-time temporary basis from September until the Christmas break.
The successful candidate will
- Deliver engaging and high-quality BTEC Chemistry lessons.
- Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the BTEC curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Support and inspire students to achieve their full academic potential.
- Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and classroom management.
- Work collaboratively with the Science department to support student success and progression.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a recognised teaching qualification, or relevant further education teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Chemistry within a BTEC or vocational setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom practice.
- Good understanding of BTEC assessment and internal verification requirements.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
