Eden Brown are currently recruiting full time temporary Learning Support Assistants on behalf of a leading further education college in Greater Manchester for the new academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students with their day-to-day learning activities and help them achieve their educational goals.
- Provide in-class support, working with teachers to deliver tailored lessons.
- Offer guidance on both academic and personal development, promoting independent learning.
- Support students with a variety of learning disabilities, physical disabilities, or social, emotional, and mental health needs.
- Provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for students, promoting their well-being and engagement in school life.
About You:
- A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to working with students of all abilities.
- Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous, but not essential for general LSA roles.
- A team player, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently when required.
- A current DBS is also needed for this role; if you do not have one, Eden Brown can apply for one on your behalf.
