Temporary Learning Support Assistant - Full Time

Contract: Temporary, Full Time
Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday
Start Date: 7th September
Eden Brown are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a leading sixth form in Manchester on a temporary, full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students in the classroom
- Support students with their learning, organisation and engagement.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other members of the support team.
- Help students develop confidence, independence and positive learning habits.
- Support students with additional learning needs where appropriate.
- Encourage a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and communicate relevant information to teaching and pastoral staff.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine commitment to supporting young people.
- Is patient, approachable and encouraging.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Is reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Is able to adapt their approach to meet individual student needs.
- Has previous experience working in an educational setting or supporting young people would be advantageous.
A DBS check is also needed for this role.
