Reading - QSW - MASH / CSPOA Team

Eden Brown Synergy are currently recruiting for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the MASH / CSPOA Team with Reading Borough Council.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage and process incoming referrals regarding children potentially at risk of harm.
* Conduct information gathering and analysis to inform decision-making.
* Work in partnership with key agencies including health, education, and police to ensure coordinated safeguarding responses.
* Make threshold decisions in line with statutory guidance and local policy.
* Record and maintain high-quality case notes, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.

Working Pattern:
* Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office

Pay Rate:
* £38 – £42 per hour Umbrella

Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification – Degree or equivalent
* Social Work England Registration
* Minimum 2 years\’ post-qualified experience in Children\’s Services
* Experience within MASH, Assessment, or Child Protection teams
* Good understanding of thresholds, safeguarding procedures, and relevant legislation
