Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic and industry-experienced Plumbing Lecturer for a leading further education college in Greater Manchester. This is an exciting permanent opportunity to inspire and develop the next generation of plumbing professionals within a thriving Further Education college.
About the Role
As a Plumbing Lecturer, you will deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across a range of plumbing programmes. You will support learners in developing the technical skills, knowledge and behaviours required for successful careers within the plumbing and wider construction industry. You will contribute to curriculum development, learner progress monitoring and the creation of an engaging and inclusive learning environment that promotes student achievement and progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching across plumbing programmes.
- Prepare and assess learner work in line with awarding body requirements.
- Support and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- Maintain accurate records of learner attendance, progress and achievement.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, development and quality improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within workshops and learning.
About You
We are looking for candidates who have:
- A recognised Level 3 qualification in Plumbing or a related discipline.
- Relevant industry experience within the plumbing sector.
- A teaching qualification or good teaching experience.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for education and helping learners succeed.
- An understanding of current industry standards and practices.
