Eden Brown are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Physics Lecturers for a Further Education College in West Yorkshire. This is a full-time temporary role to start as soon as possible for 2 weeks cover initially, potentially extended. Hours will be Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across BTEC Level 2 and Level 3 Applied Science (Physics units), supporting learners to achieve their full potential.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Physics across BTEC Levels 2 and 3
- Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with awarding body requirements
- Monitor and track learner progress, providing timely feedback and support
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in departmental meetings and college activities as required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A relevant degree in Physics or a closely related subject
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
- Experience delivering BTEC Science qualifications (desirable)
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for supporting learners in Further Education
Candidates require a current DBS.
