The predicted salary is between 45 - 45 £ per hour.

Senior Social Worker required for work within the Children Safeguarding Team in the picturesque county of Gloucestershire based in Stroud for a 6-month period. 37 hrs a week.

Competitive rates of pay up to £45ph.

The team has a strong management structure.

Flexible, hybrid working arrangements.

An enhanced pay rate of £45 per hour is available for the first 3 months, along with a weekly expenses contribution of £150.

An exemption for this arrangement has been approved by the South West region.

Our team based in Stroud is looking for an experienced Social Worker who understands the need for permanence for young people and who will demonstrate grit and tenacity to ensure young people feel safe and secure to enable them to achieve their potential.

It is essential that candidates have experience or are skilled at writing CPR's (child permanence report) under supervision.

They need to have knowledge and practice of working with children in care and considering their needs fully, a good understanding of family finding and matching with adopters, including completion of relevant Court reports and support plans.

The role is full time where home working opportunities are available with the expectation that workers will come into the office 3 days per week and visit people to undertake the work when needed.

This is subject to change and the candidate should be flexible to meet the Teams' needs.

It is essential that candidates have good communication and strong report writing skills.

You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
