An exciting opportunity has become available for an Occupational Therapist to join a developing neurobehavioural rehabilitation service in Cheadle, Staffordshire. The service supports adults with acquired brain injuries and complex needs, delivering highly specialist care in a therapeutic, outcome-focused environment.

You will work as part of a transdisciplinary team, delivering evidence-based interventions, supporting goal setting with service users and carers, and helping to maximise independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct neurological assessments and rehabilitation planning
  • Deliver interventions to support function, ADLs, and cognitive rehab
  • Assess environmental and equipment needs, including seating
  • Use clinical outcome measures (FIM/FAM, WHIM, CRS-R, TOMS)
  • Support complex discharge planning and liaise with community services
  • Supervise OT assistants and students
  • Contribute to the delivery and development of evidence-based practice
Essential Criteria:
  • HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
  • Strong clinical knowledge in neurorehabilitation or complex needs
  • Experience working within MDTs and using outcome measures
  • Skilled in planning and evaluating treatment interventions
  • Ability to manage a designated caseload independently
