Northamptonshire Children's Trust is currently seeking an experienced Team Manager - DAAT to join their service on a locum basis, providing vital cover within a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Role Details:

  • Position: Team Manager - DAAT
  • Rate: £42 per hour (Umbrella)
  • Location: One Angel Square
  • Working Pattern: Hybrid
  • Contract: Sickness Cover

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to lead within an Assessment/Front Door (DAAT) service, overseeing safeguarding decisions and supporting a team managing complex cases. You will play a key role in ensuring timely assessments and high-quality interventions to safeguard children and support families.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Team Manager within Assessment / Front Door services
  • Strong background in safeguarding and managing assessment teams
  • Ability to lead, support and develop staff in a high-pressure environment
  • Confident decision-making and strong risk assessment skills

Essential Requirements:

  • Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
  • At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
  • Social Work England Registration
  • Driving license and access to own vehicle
