Social Worker - Court Team (Children in Care) Northamptonshire Children s Trust - Kettering | 38 per hour Umbrella | Hybrid Working An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Social Worker to join the Children in Care Court Team at Northamptonshire Children s Trust.
This is a specialist court-based role offering 38 per hour Umbrella for social workers with strong public law experience.
The Role You will manage a caseload of children subject to court proceedings, ensuring high-quality assessments and evidence to achieve the best outcomes for children.
Key responsibilities include: Managing complex court proceedings Completing Parenting Assessments Undertaking Risk Assessments and Viability Assessments Preparing court statements, including final evidence and care plans Working closely with legal teams and partner agencies throughout proceedings Essential Requirements Social Work England registration Recent UK Local Authority experience within Children s Services Substantial and recent court experience is essential Proven experience completing parenting, risk and viability assessments Experience preparing statements, final evidence and care plans for court Please note: This is not a generic Children in Care role.
