Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the MASH Team for the London Borough of Newham.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of approximately 8-10 contacts per day within a fast-paced MASH environment.
- Screening and assessing incoming contacts, predominantly Amber cases with some Green cases.
- Gathering and analysing information from partner agencies to support informed decision-making.
- Identifying safeguarding concerns and determining appropriate levels of intervention.
- Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure timely responses to children and families.
- Maintaining accurate case records and reports in line with statutory requirements and local procedures.
- Applying sound knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policies, and best practice.
Working Pattern:
- Hybrid working.
- 2-3 days per week in the office, remainder working from home.
Pay Rate:
- £39.04 p/h Umb.
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent.
- Social Work England Registration.
- Experience working within a MASH, Assessment, Duty & Assessment, or Safeguarding Team.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and thresholds.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency environment.
