Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to join Newcastle City Council’s Adult Social Care – Physical Disability Service. This community‑based role supports adults with physical disabilities to maintain independence and live safely in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out comprehensive OT assessments for adults with physical disabilities
  • Providing equipment and recommending home adaptations
  • Supporting major housing adaptations and re‑housing decisions where appropriate
  • Working closely with housing, health, and voluntary sector partners
  • Promoting independence and improving service users’ quality of life
  • Maintaining accurate case records and contributing to statutory duties

Qualifications

  • HCPC‑registered Occupational Therapist with experience in community OT, adult social care, or disability services.
