Milton Keynes Council is currently seeking an experienced Independent Child Protection Chair to join their service. Apply promptly! A high volume of applicants is expected for the role as detailed below, do not wait to send your CV.

Location: Civic Offices, Milton Keynes

Hours: 37 hours per week

Rate: Β£45 per hour

Working Arrangement: Primarily office-based, with some flexibility to work from home between conferences.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced safeguarding professional with strong chairing experience, the ability to provide robust oversight, and confidence in holding professionals to account to ensure effective safeguarding outcomes for children.

Essential Requirements:

  • Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
  • At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
  • Social Work England Registration
  • Driving license and access to own vehicle
