Position: Mechanical Engineering Lecturer (Full‑Time, Temporary (Ongoing))
Location: Greater Manchester
Rate: £40 - £50 per hour
Role:
- Deliver engaging and practical lessons in engineering, including milling, turning, and CNC.
- Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and provide timely feedback to students.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of course content across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Monitor and report on student progress, attendance, and engagement.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge and experience in engineering.
- Ability to engage and motivate learners with diverse backgrounds.
- Flexible approach to teaching and ability to adapt to changing schedules.
- DBS clearance.
