Role: Painting and Decorating Teacher
Location: Greater Manchester
Pay: £40 - £48 per hour
Contract: Temporary, full time, possible permanent

Eden Brown are working on behalf of a leading Further Education College in Greater Manchester who are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Painting and Decorating Teacher to join their team on a full time, temporary basis from the start as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Further Education or industry professional with teaching experience who is passionate about developing learners practical skills and industry knowledge, enabling them to achieve success in Painting and Decorating qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective Painting and Decorating lessons to FE learners.
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with curriculum requirements.
  • Teach a range of practical and theoretical topics within Painting and Decorating.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide timely feedback.
  • Support students to achieve their academic goals and develop industry-standard skills.
  • Maintain a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent) or relevant teaching experience
  • Relevant Painting and Decorating qualification (Level 3 or above preferred) or significant industry experience.
  • Strong practical skills, classroom management and communication skills.

An enhanced DBS is required for this role, although Eden Brown can apply for one on your behalf if needed.
