Salary: Permanent: 36,500- 46,500 per annum Temporary: 35- 45 per hour
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Motor Vehicle Lecturer specialising in Body & Paint to join a Further Education college in Greater Manchester.
Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable automotive professional who can deliver high-quality teaching and practical training, helping students develop the technical skills and industry knowledge required for successful careers within the motor vehicle body repair and paint sector.
The Role
- Deliver engaging theory and practical sessions covering vehicle body repair and paint.
- Plan and prepare lessons, practical activities and learning resources.
- Assess learners practical skills, knowledge and progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and support learners to achieve their qualifications.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety within the workshop.
- Keep accurate records of learner progress and assessment.
- Support students with their personal and professional development.
- Keep up to date with current industry techniques, technology and standards.
About You
- Strong industry experience in motor vehicle body repair and/or paint.
- Relevant technical qualifications and industry experience.
- Excellent practical knowledge and the ability to demonstrate body and paint repair techniques.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for developing the next generation of automotive professionals.
- The ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities.
- A commitment to safeguarding and providing an excellent learner experience.
- Previous teaching or Further Education experience is desirable, but candidates with strong industry experience who are looking to move into teaching are encouraged to apply.
A DBS is also needed for this role.
