Eden Brown are in need of an enthusiastic Learning Support Officer to join our team at a dynamic college in Greater Manchester. This full‑time temporary position is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting students in their learning journey. In this role, you will provide essential support to students in the Construction Department who are undertaking their apprenticeships. You will be working closely with students to help them reach their full potential, offering tailored support in both practical and theoretical aspects of their courses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one‑to‑one and small group support to students in the Construction Department.
  • Assist students with their apprenticeship coursework, practical assignments, and assessments.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
  • Help students overcome any learning barriers they may face.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to monitor student progress and provide feedback.
  • Support students with personal and academic development as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working in an educational setting supporting students with SEN.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting students' learning.

  • A minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) qualifications in Maths and English, or experience in a similar role.
