Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic Sport Lecturer for a Further Education College in West Yorkshire. This is a full-time temporary role to start as soon as possible until Easter initially. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with a passion for sport education to support learners on vocational sport programmes within a dynamic FE environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across BTEC Sport programmes
- Support learners to achieve their academic and practical potential
- Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessment materials in line with awarding body requirements
- Track and report on learner progress, providing constructive feedback
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Essential Requirements:
- Experience of planning, delivering, and assessing BTEC Sport qualifications
- Strong subject knowledge within sport and physical education
- Experience teaching within a Further Education or similar setting
- Relevant teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
- A learner-focused approach with strong communication skills
- Candidates must have a current DBS
