Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Team Manager to join the Leaving Care Team at Southwark Council.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise staff within the Leaving Care service, providing leadership, support, and professional guidance.
- Ensure care leavers receive high-quality, timely, and outcome-focused support in line with statutory guidance.
- Oversee complex cases, ensuring risks are appropriately managed and escalated when required.
- Ensure pathway plans, reviews, and transitions are completed to a high standard and within statutory timescales.
- Monitor team performance, quality assurance, and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Work closely with internal and external partners to promote positive outcomes for young people.
Pay Rate: £45.20 p/h Umbrella
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant management experience
- Significant experience working within Leaving Care / Children Looked After services
- Proven experience managing and supervising social work staff
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory guidance
- Social Work England registration
