Eden Brown Synergy is looking for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Fostering Team for Achieving for Children.
Responsibilities
- Undertake assessments of prospective foster carers, including connected persons and mainstream fostering assessments.
- Provide supervision, guidance, and ongoing support to foster carers.
- Complete annual foster carer reviews and prepare reports for fostering panels.
- Work closely with children in care, foster carers, birth families, and partner agencies.
- Support foster carers with safeguarding concerns, placement disruptions, and behavioural management strategies.
- Ensure all statutory visits, recordings, and documentation are completed accurately and within required timescales.
- Contribute to care planning and permanency planning for children looked after.
- Apply fostering regulations, national minimum standards, and safeguarding legislation within practice.

£37.52 per hour (Umb).
Essential Requirements
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years' experience within Children's Social Care.
- Previous experience within a Fostering Team.
- Social Work England Registration.
- Thorough knowledge of fostering regulations and safeguarding legislation.
