Eden Brown are seeking an experienced Early Years Lecturer for a Further Education College in West Yorkshire. This is a full time temporary cover to start ASAP until the end of January initially. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner or lecturer to inspire and support learners pursuing careers within Early Years and Childcare.
As an Early Years Lecturer, you will deliver high‐quality teaching across a range of Early Years programmes, supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and develop the skills required for employment or further study. You will play a key role in curriculum delivery, assessment, and learner progression.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons across Early Years and Childcare qualifications
- Support and motivate learners to achieve their full potential
- Monitor learner progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement
- Maintain accurate records in line with college and awarding body requirements
- Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion at all times
- A relevant qualification in Early Years / Childcare (Level 3 or above)
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- Experience teaching in Further Education or training environments (desirable)
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A learner‐focused, inclusive approach to teaching
Candidates must have a current DBS.
