Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join the Adult Social Care Team in Liverpool City Council.
Location: Liverpool (City Wide)
Rate: £46.08 per hour
Contract: Hybrid working, Locum role
Job Purpose: To contribute to the effective delivery of Adult Social Care services as part of an integrated team responsible for safeguarding, support planning, and promoting the wellbeing of adults with care and support needs - continuously improving outcomes for individuals and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hold and manage a complex caseload with appropriate supervision and guidance.
- Undertake assessments and support planning under the Care Act 2014.
- Complete reports, statements, and representations for Court of Protection proceedings.
- Lead safeguarding enquiries and ensure outcomes are recorded and shared appropriately.
- Undertake capacity and best interest assessments.
- Work collaboratively with health professionals, carers, advocates, and other agencies.
- Ensure services are delivered within budget and reflect assessed needs and outcomes.
- Participate in the duty system, team meetings, and professional development activities.
- Maintain accurate, high-quality case records using Liquid Logic and IT systems.
- Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of work.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker (DipSW, BA, or MA in Social Work).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Sound knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Mental Health Act 1983.
- Experience in Adult Social Care, including assessments, safeguarding, and case management.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills.
- Enhanced DBS required.
- Full UK driving licence (desirable).
