Leeds are looking for an experienced social worker to join their Child Protection team as an Advanced Practitioner based at Deacon House, Seacroft Avenue, Leeds, LS14 6JD.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload comprising of Child and Family Assessments, Child in Need, Child Protection, Child Care Proceedings until permanence.
  • The caseload is complex and will involve lead worker responsibilities working alongside other social workers.
  • It does not include supervisory or line manager responsibilities.
  • Practice restoratively with child and families and promote family‑led decisions to manage risk and meet support needs.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid working – 37 hours per week, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Role Type

This is a case‑holding role.

Compensation

£37 per hour.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience, and must not be permanent in the Yorkshire region.
