We're looking for an Experienced Social Worker to join a dynamic Looked After Children Team based in our new, modern offices at Thomas Hardy House, located in the heart of Enfield. This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week, where you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in children's lives. Key Responsibilities: Undertake assessments and provide social work services to users and carers, aligning with the Council's statutory duties and policies. Work in accordance with local government guidelines, utilising both Group and independent resources effectively. Participate in duty team/rota, completing contacts, referrals, and Section 47 enquiries. Ensure timely progression of cases, safeguarding the most vulnerable children while integrating up-to-date research into all interventions. Conduct Care Proceedings and represent the Local Authority in court – extensive court experience is essential for this role.
