Rate: £35 - £50 per hour

Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic Motor Vehicle Lecturer for a Further Education College in West Yorkshire. This is a full time temporary role to start asap for ongoing cover.

Responsibilities:

  • Teaching Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair at Level 1-3 (or relevant levels)
  • Planning and delivering practical and theory-based lessons
  • Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback
  • Maintaining a safe and well-organised workshop environment
  • Supporting learners with differing abilities and learning needs
  • Contributing to course administration and quality assurance where required

Ideal Candidate / Qualifications:

  • Holds a relevant qualification in Motor Vehicle / Automotive Engineering
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one
  • Previous experience teaching in an FE college or strong industry experience
  • Up-to-date knowledge of motor vehicle technologies and industry standards
  • Strong communication skills and a learner-focused approach
  • Candidates must have a current DBS.
