Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic Motor Vehicle Lecturer for a Further Education College in West Yorkshire. This is a full time temporary role to start asap for ongoing cover.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair at Level 1-3 (or relevant levels)
- Planning and delivering practical and theory-based lessons
- Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback
- Maintaining a safe and well-organised workshop environment
- Supporting learners with differing abilities and learning needs
- Contributing to course administration and quality assurance where required
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications:
- Holds a relevant qualification in Motor Vehicle / Automotive Engineering
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one
- Previous experience teaching in an FE college or strong industry experience
- Up-to-date knowledge of motor vehicle technologies and industry standards
- Strong communication skills and a learner-focused approach
- Candidates must have a current DBS.
