Eden Brown are seeking enthusiastic Building Services Engineering Lecturers for a Further Education College in West Yorkshire. This is a full-time temporary role for ongoing cover, however, they will also consider part-time applicants.
Responsibilities
- This role combines teaching with course and learner support responsibilities.
- You will deliver engaging, industry-relevant learning and contribute to the ongoing development of curriculum provision, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.
- Depending on your background and experience, you may teach subjects including:
- Principles of Electrical Design and Installation
- Science Principles for Building Services Engineering
- Sustainable Construction
About You
- We are keen to hear from professionals with recent industry experience in Building Services Engineering or the wider construction sector who are interested in developing or continuing a career in education.
- Relevant industry experience within Building Services Engineering or Construction.
- A minimum Level 4 qualification (HNC or above) in a related discipline.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both adults and young people.
- Good organisational and IT skills, and an awareness of health and safety practices.
- Experience of teaching at National or Higher National level is desirable, but not essential.
- Candidates must also have a current DBS.
