Location: Hounslow House, TW3 3EB (Hybrid Working)
Rate: £42 per hour (Umbrella)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Children's Occupational Therapist to join the Occupational Therapy Team within Social Care and Housing at the London Borough of Hounslow. This is an initial 6-month contract with the possibility of extension to 12 months, offering a competitive £42 per hour umbrella rate and a flexible hybrid working arrangement.
The Role
Working in partnership with the Housing Adaptation Team and Children's Social Care, you will focus on assessing children currently awaiting Occupational Therapy assessments. You will play a key role in delivering timely interventions that improve outcomes for children and their families.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing Occupational Therapy assessments for children.
- Assessing moving and handling needs.
- Recommending and arranging specialist equipment.
- Assessing for major and minor housing adaptations.
- Working collaboratively with Social Care professionals and the Housing Adaptation Team.
- Managing a caseload effectively to support timely service delivery.
Essential Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
- Previous experience working as a Children's Occupational Therapist within Social Care.
- Strong moving and handling assessment experience.
- Availability for an immediate start.
