Social Worker - Children Help & Protection Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire Team: Quadrant D Locality Team 1 Pay Rate: £38-£42 per hour umbrella Authority: Buckinghamshire Council Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Social Worker to join the Children Help & Protection service at Buckinghamshire Council, based within the Quadrant D Locality Team 1 in High Wycombe. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Children's Social Worker to join a frontline locality team, supporting children and families while promoting positive outcomes and ensuring children's safety and welfare. Your daily responsibilities will include Managing a caseload of children and families requiring support and intervention. Undertaking assessments to identify children's needs, risks and levels of vulnerability. Developing and implementing child-centred plans to safeguard and promote children's welfare. Completing statutory visits, care planning and relevant assessments within required timescales. Working collaboratively with families, partner agencies and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes. Responding to safeguarding concerns and taking appropriate action to protect children at risk. Maintaining accurate case records and producing reports in line with statutory requirements. Essential Requirements A recognised Social Work degree or equivalent qualification. Current registration with Social Work England (SWE). At least 3 years' post-qualification experience working in Social Work roles within a UK English Local Authority. Experience in children's social care, safeguarding and child protection.
