Eden Brown are seeking an experienced Health & Social Care Lecturer for a Further Education College in West Yorkshire. This is a full-time temporary role. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner or lecturer to inspire and support learners pursuing careers within Health & Social Care.
The Role
As a Health & Social Care Lecturer, you will deliver high-quality teaching across a range of Health & Social Care programmes, supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and develop the skills required for employment or further study. You will play a key role in curriculum delivery, assessment, and learner progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons across Health & Social Care qualifications
- Support and motivate learners to achieve their full potential
- Monitor learner progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement
- Maintain accurate records in line with college and awarding body requirements
- Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- A relevant qualification in Health & Social Care (Level 3 or above)
- A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- Experience teaching in Further Education or training environments (desirable)
- Strong knowledge of the Health & Social Care sector and current practice
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A learner-focused, inclusive approach to teaching
Candidates must have a current DBS.
