Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for a Children's Occupational Therapist to join the Yorkshire Collaboration Team on a part-time basis (2 days per week). This rewarding role involves delivering high-quality, child-centred assessments and interventions for children and young people with disabilities, supporting them to remain safe, independent, and engaged within their homes and wider communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out community-based assessments for children with a range of physical, sensory, and developmental needs
- Assess home environments for safety, risks, and functional ability
- Recommend housing adaptations to support safe movement and participation at home
- Complete equipment assessments, reviews, and reassessments, ensuring suitability and safety
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, health professionals, housing, education, and multi-agency partners
- Produce clear, evidence-based reports and recommendations
- Contribute to statutory duties and service objectives within the Disabled Children's Team
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registration (essential)
- Experience working with children, ideally in disability or community settings
- Strong knowledge of equipment provision, moving and handling, and housing adaptations
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Pay & Benefits:
- £35 per hour (Umbrella)
