Team Manager required for work within the Family Help Team in the Gloucestershire area in Forest of Dean. Candidates will be working in the long term Pay Rate - 47ph. Contract for 3- 6 months initially. Flexible hybrid working.
We are currently recruiting a Family Help Team Leader to join our dedicated Family Help Service based in the Forest of Dean.
As a Family Help Team Leader, you will provide operational oversight and quality assurance of Family Help practice within an area-based team. You will support workers to deliver high-quality, timely and evidence-informed interventions that reflect Gloucestershire's practice model.
You will directly supervise colleagues delivering support under the Targeted Early Help and Child in Need frameworks. This will include providing high-quality caseload and reflective supervision, maintaining oversight of assessment and intervention work, supporting effective resource allocation and ensuring that practice complies with legislation, statutory guidance and GCC policies.
There is an expectation that you will be in the office for at least 3 days per week depending on business needs.
You will also:
- support the operational delivery of the Family Help Team
- develop and motivate multidisciplinary staff
- promote consistent, high-quality Family Help practice
- contribute to service objectives, standards and improvement activity
- build effective multi-agency partnerships
- make evidence-based decisions concerning requests for support and resource allocation
- use team-level information to help services respond to local need and
- contribute to recruitment, employee development and effective management of resources.
