Job Title: GCSE English Teacher
Location: Greater Manchester
Rate of Pay: £30-35 per hour
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (36 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured GCSE English lessons to students
  • Plan and prepare high-quality lesson materials that are tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them succeed
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student confidence and achievement

About You

  • A qualified teacher with experience teaching GCSE English (either secondary or further education)
  • A passion for teaching English and helping students reach their full potential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage students
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive, student-centred learning environment
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
  • A current DBS is also needed for this role.
