Job Title: Temporary Part-Time Functional Skills Maths Tutor (SEN/Foundation Learning) Location: Widnes Contract Type: Temporary, Part-Time Pay Rate: £30-£35 Eden Brown are currently recruiting on behalf of a Further Education provider for a Functional Skills Maths Tutor to deliver Entry Level to Level 2 Maths in a supportive and inclusive SEN/Foundation Learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and differentiated Functional Skills Maths sessions (Entry – Level 2) on: Tuesdays: 9am – 12pm Thursdays: 9am – 12pm 1pm – 4pm * Provide tutorial support for Maths learners to help them build confidence and achieve their qualifications. * Deliver an hour of Employability skills sessions focusing on personal development, confidence building, and workplace readiness. * Support learners with a range of learning difficulties and additional needs, adapting your approach to meet individual support requirements. * Work collaboratively with support staff, coordinators and SEN specialists to ensure inclusive and effective teaching. * Track progress and contribute to learner reviews and outcomes. Requirements: * Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent) * Subject specialism or experience in delivering Functional Skills Maths (E1-L2) * Experience of working with learners with SEN or within a Foundation Learning setting * Strong communication and classroom management skills * A learner-centred approach, with an understanding of differentiation and inclusive practice A current DBS check will also be needed for this role.
