Role: Fabrication & Welding Assessor Location: Lancashire Rate: £35-£45 per hour Contract: Full-time, Temporary - approximately 5 weeks
We are currently seeking an experienced Fabrication & Welding Assessor to join a leading further education college on a full-time temporary basis in Lancashire for approximately 5 weeks.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and supporting learners within fabrication and welding, ensuring they meet the required industry and qualification standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess learners in fabrication and welding
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to support learner development
- Ensure assessments are completed accurately and in line with awarding-body requirements
- Maintain appropriate assessment records and documentation
- Support learners in achieving their qualifications and practical competencies
The Ideal Candidate
- Relevant industry experience in fabrication and welding
- Experience as an assessor within an educational or training environment
- Relevant assessing qualifications
- Strong knowledge of fabrication and welding practices
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to commit to the full 5-week assignment
