Qualified Supervising Social Workers required for work within the Fostering Service in Devon - Exeter & East. This is an exciting opportunity with excellent rates of pay up to £36ph for a 3-month long contract with hybrid working.
We are seeking experienced Supervising Social Workers for our Exeter and East Devon. The service is responsible for the support, advice, and supervision of foster carers to ensure safe and thriving placements, undertaken with appropriate regard to National Minimum Standards for Fostering, Fostering Services (England) Regulations 2011, and any other relevant legislation.
You will champion high standards of professional social work practice and have sound knowledge in fostering regulations and legal options available to children to be cared for by persons within their network.
Skills & Experience:- A social work qualification and registration with Social Work England
- Satisfactory completion of your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE)
- Robust post-qualifying social work experience within children and families
- Exceptional communication and relationship skills
- A sound knowledge of fostering regulations and legislation
- Experience of working within Fostering and/or demonstration of transferrable skills from another current or previous role
- Exceptional time-management, recording and planning skills
- A willingness to work across the whole of the South Fostering area
