Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Temporary ESOL Lecturer to join a dynamic team at a leading college in Greater Manchester.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality ESOL lessons across Entry Level to Level 2.
- Plan, prepare, and implement engaging and effective teaching materials.
- Support learners in achieving their academic and personal development goals.
- Assess and track learner progress, providing timely feedback.
- Ensure all lessons meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the ESOL department.
Essential Requirements
- A recognised ESOL teaching qualification (e.g., CELTA, DELTA, or equivalent).
- Experience teaching ESOL at Entry Level through to Level 2.
- Strong knowledge of current ESOL curriculum and best teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A student‑centred approach with the ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of learners.
Desirable
- Experience working in a further education environment.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.
A DBS On the update service is also needed for this role.
