Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic English GCSE Lecturer for a Further Education College in West Yorkshire. This is a part time temporary role, 4 full days per week, Monday - Thursday to start asap until June.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective GCSE English lessons
- Prepare schemes of work and lesson plans aligned to the curriculum
- Assess, track and monitor learner progress
- Provide constructive feedback and support to learners
- Prepare students for exams in line with Edexcel 2.0 specifications
- Maintain accurate records in line with internal and external quality standards
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience delivering GCSE English
- Strong knowledge of Edexcel 2.0 specification
- Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE / Cert Ed / DET or equivalent)
- Degree in English or a related subject
- Strong classroom management skills
Desirable:
- Experience teaching within Further Education
- Experience supporting resit learners
Candidate must have a current DBS.
