The London Borough of Hounslow is looking for an experienced and motivated Locum Social Worker to join our Front Door Early Help Service in the newly developed role of Education Liaison Social Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of safeguarding and early intervention, building strong partnerships with schools and education providers to ensure children and families receive the right support at the right time. About the Role As our Education Liaison Social Worker, you will act as the key link between Children's Social Care and education settings across the borough. Working closely with Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs), headteachers and multi-agency partners, you will provide expert safeguarding consultation, advice on thresholds, and guidance around Early Help, Child in Need and referral pathways. The role is designed to improve the quality of professional decision-making, strengthen partnership working and reduce unnecessary escalation into statutory services.
