Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Locality Team for Barnet Council.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload of children and families, undertaking assessments and delivering timely interventions.
- Complete Child in Need, Child Protection, Looked After Children, and court work where required.
- Undertake statutory visits, risk assessments, and develop outcome-focused care plans.
- Work closely with children, families, and multi-agency partners to achieve positive outcomes and safeguard children.
- Prepare high-quality reports for court, child protection conferences, strategy meetings, and other statutory forums.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case recordings in line with statutory requirements and local authority procedures.
- Apply relevant legislation, policies, and safeguarding procedures to support effective decision-making.

- £32 p/h Umb.
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years experience within Children's Social Care.
- Experience working within a Locality, Assessment, Child Protection, or Children & Families Team.
- Social Work England Registration.
- Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures.
