Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Locality Team for Barnet Council.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of children and families, undertaking assessments and delivering timely interventions.
  • Complete Child in Need, Child Protection, Looked After Children, and court work where required.
  • Undertake statutory visits, risk assessments, and develop outcome-focused care plans.
  • Work closely with children, families, and multi-agency partners to achieve positive outcomes and safeguard children.
  • Prepare high-quality reports for court, child protection conferences, strategy meetings, and other statutory forums.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case recordings in line with statutory requirements and local authority procedures.
  • Apply relevant legislation, policies, and safeguarding procedures to support effective decision-making.

Working Pattern:

  • Hybrid working.

Pay Rate:

  • £32 p/h Umb.

Essential Requirements:

  • Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years experience within Children's Social Care.
  • Experience working within a Locality, Assessment, Child Protection, or Children & Families Team.
  • Social Work England Registration.
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures.
