Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Advanced Social Worker to join a Youth Justice Team based in North Somerset.
The role is 37 hours a week on a 3 month+ contract, hybrid working, with specialized transport links off the M5.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a complex caseload of children and young people involved with the Youth Justice Service.
- Undertake comprehensive assessments, intervention planning, and risk management.
- Prepare high-quality reports for courts, panels, and multi‑agency meetings.
- Work directly with children, young people, and their families to address offending behaviour and promote positive outcomes.
- Collaborate with partner agencies including education, health, police, probation, and children's social care.
Qualifications
You will be registered with SWE, ideally have a driver licence, own a car and be able to reside and work in the UK.
