The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Social Worker required for work within the Children Families Team in the Devon area based in Exeter East in a friendly and supportive team with strong management present and assistance 5 days a week. Competitive rates of pay up to £38ph. Flexible hybrid working arrangement. An accommodation/commuter allowance of £150 per week is offered for candidates who fall within the agreed eligibility guidelines.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced social worker to join a busy Children and Families team in Exeter East Devon. The suitable candidate will have experience of working with children and families and identifying potential child protection or dealing with ongoing child protection issues.

The work within the team is of a complex nature, either high end children in need, or child protection. Applicants need to be experienced in progressing child protection / CIN plans with specific measurable and timely interventions and be able to recognise when further intervention is required to protect the children within their case load and take the appropriate action to address this. Cases also progress to care proceedings where appropriate hence the need for knowledge around Court work and the statutory requirements for children who are looked after.

You will be Social Worker England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car.
