About the Role
As a Children’s Social Worker you will provide high‑quality statutory social work support to vulnerable children and families. You will:
- Complete assessments and develop effective plans to safeguard children
- Undertake child protection and safeguarding interventions
- Ensure the voice of the child is central to your practice
- Build strong relationships with children, young people and families
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies and multi-disciplinary teams
- Produce clear, analytical reports and maintain accurate case records
- Manage risk and support positive outcomes through effective social work interventions
About You
We are looking for qualified Children’s Social Workers with:
- Social Work qualification (Degree/Masters/PG Diploma/Fast Track)
- Active Social Work England registration
- Experience working with children and families
- Strong safeguarding and child protection knowledge
- Experience completing assessments and managing a caseload
- Excellent communication, analytical and report‑writing skills
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across the county
Experience within Family Support, Safeguarding, Child Protection, CIN, LAC or Children’s Services is desirable.
