Eden Brown Synergy are currently recruiting for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Children with Disabilities Team at Hackney Council.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Carries out statutory assessments for children and young people with disabilities.
- Manages complex caseloads including Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children.
- Develops and reviews care plans to meet the needs of children and families.
- Works collaboratively with multi-agency partners, including health and education services.
- Applies a sound knowledge of disability, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
- Maintains timely, accurate, and analytical case recording in line with local and statutory standards.

Essential Requirements
- Social Work qualification (Degree or equivalent)
- Social Work England registration
- Experience working within a Children with Disabilities team or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and disability frameworks
