Eden Brown Synergy are currently recruiting for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Children with Disabilities Team at Hackney Council.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Carries out statutory assessments for children and young people with disabilities.
  • Manages complex caseloads including Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children.
  • Develops and reviews care plans to meet the needs of children and families.
  • Works collaboratively with multi-agency partners, including health and education services.
  • Applies a sound knowledge of disability, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
  • Maintains timely, accurate, and analytical case recording in line with local and statutory standards.

  • £37.52 p/h Umbrella

Essential Requirements

  • Social Work qualification (Degree or equivalent)
  • Social Work England registration
  • Experience working within a Children with Disabilities team or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and disability frameworks
