As a member of our Children's TM - Corporate Parenting Team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans to meet the individual needs of children in care.
- Building strong relationships with children, families, and foster carers to ensure effective communication and support.
- Collaborating with multi-agency partners to provide comprehensive support and resources for children and families.
- Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children in care, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.
- Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony as required.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Experience working within children’s services, particularly in corporate parenting or child protection.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in challenging situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach toward children and families.
